splendid timing and rich, vibrant colors randall! the curving wave splash is the money in this shot. i was in this spot about an hour before you, but light was not yet as good. i was trying to find a composition where i could separate the sea stack from the capones wall and had hoped to contrast it with the sky. but alas, rocks were too slippery to maneuver safely. you nailed the essence of the scene with this!

this is far better than the mono version.

great swirling movement on the waves. really interesting foreground. the yellow band in the horizon is icing. one of the best images here, no doubt!

okay, so that foreground is quite distracting. only eyes attuned to such things - like yours - will have the guts to compose off this scene. hahaha.

but one damn beautiful exposure. the silhouetted peak and the dimly lit foreground is just amazing. soothing is the word.

In my world, all horizons are perfectly straight. Haven't you heard? The world is flat.. Edge of the Earth, Corners of the Sky! Hehehe.
