Early Light- Matawe Tidelands Promontory, Dingalan, Aurora.
Surviving cold weather, torrential rains, raging rivers, crashing waves, the rising tide, senseless humor, and most especially - the Tractor of Death. These are a few images captured as we made our way east to the Pacific Light of Dingalan, Aurora.

my favorite album from your multiply site koya,, just wondering, bakit andami mong shot with jay,, awkward :>
Kasi kami yung magkasama eh, di naman kayo pumunta sa promontory hehe. Si Lloyd katabi ko so di ko naman siya mapipicturan haha. Koya Da selos ka nanaman... awkward haha!
busy today...will give deeper comments later...hehehe
i love this one bro. ganda talaga ng dawn colors. i love the ripples in the foreground and the strong blacks of the tide land in the distance.
hindi sya "strange place" kasi nandyan pala ako! :-D
Thanks! Chumachamba na konti. I still haven't found that pp workflow with dusk/dawn shots I want kaya iba-iba yung images, nag eexperiment pa ulit ako haha.
at first i thought it was too dark....candidate sana for GND. but may purpose din siguro. great reflection of sky hues on the river...the deepening twilight sky and the last fragments of sunlight....mixing with the strong blacks in the reeds and the horizon.
im loving pentax blues. it's deep and strong without looking oversaturated.
excellent! another way of interpreting this fantastic scene. the kinetic energy of the waves just seem to invite one to linger on this image for long moments. great use of a fast shutter speed. the spray was frozen but the entire picture seems to move with a thunder.
i'm viewing this through a crappy monitor, but i think i can see some noise in the sky, do you?
er, i have a similar composition. but after looking at this, i know now that it doesn't work (for me, at least). aside from the moving clouds, this image doesn't have anything interesting to make me sing praises. hmmm....baka as a a study of tones. ansel adams would have love playing his zone system on this image....strong blacks and bright highlights.
malupit! ako pala yun akala ko si lloyd na-duplicate....hehehe...great detail! your panoramas are always well detailed! ominous sky, parang replicated pero im sure genuine hehehe.
the shoreline looks weird pag matagal mong tinitigan. dapat kasi talagang may curve sya...diba? i think its futile to render it really straight.

Yep, yep noise. I didn't bother masking out the sky because I can't really see any noise here at home but at the office, it's noise galore. We really need to invest on a new monitor haha!

but otherwise....makapagbura na nga...hehehe
A testament to a failed IR. This looks even worse in color. I guess I was just trying to salvage a super long exposure that I invested alot of time on.
